Northwind's Belle - Belle is powerful and hard running
in the field, with a rangy purposeful search. Her search distance depends on cover varying from within gun range while hunting
ruffed grouse in the bush, to 500+ metres in wide open sharptail country. Her pointing is staunch and stylish. She loves
waterfowling and has great persistence on difficult retrieves. Belle retrieves with a soft mouth and is a very reliable
retriever. Her natural intelligence has given her the ability to assess various hunting scenarios and alter her search
pattern as required.
Belle's personality
is Jekyll and Hyde. In the field she is all business with exceptional drive and desire, and the toughness to get the
job done. When hunting with other dogs she tends to ignore them and concentrates on the task at hand. When not
hunting Belle thinks she is a lap dog and enjoys the creature comforts, including cuddling with kittens on the couch.
She is an extremely people-pleasing dog, loves children and has an honest temperament. Her intelligence makes her extremely
easy to train and work with. In the field, she's a bird maniac; in the house, she's everyone's favorite pet.
Sunnynook's Qrecca - Qrecca is a tenacious tracker with the attitude and nose that ensure that no bird gives her the slip.
She hunts hard and searches with a methodical style that ensures all cover is searched entirely. She loves to hunt waterfowl and will sit quietly in the blind until sent for a retrieve.
Qrecca retrieves with a soft mouth and has been an impeccable retriever from the time she was a pup. Qrecca's natural
retrieving instinct required little training.
Qrecca has a sweet personality and is a very happy dog, always
enjoying life to the fullest. She learns very quickly and stays honest once she masters a task.
